I am proud to call Craig my friend. There are so many facets to this man and it is difficult to express the dichotomies of who Craig is. Craig possessed an incredible intellect and acumen for his profession, but was always humble. He was tough as nails, and compassionate. There are numerous stories of Craig helping others through hard times and going above and beyond. He had the reputation of being the “go to” guy. He guarded himself against being emotional, but loved his family intensely. Craig wasn’t the type of person to start a fight, he was the guy that could end one. He openly admitted to loving gas station hotdogs and graded all fast food locations on the basis of cleanliness. The very thought of driving through the mountains made him nervous, but he would go anyway and be the first to laugh about it. He researched and authored the manual train handling instructions across the entire railroad. He was one of the finest team leaders I have ever had the pleasure of working with. A fiercely loyal friend, private in nature, a definitive man who was so proud and loving of his beautiful wife and children.
