Steven Craig Finney, age 45 of Salem, passed away on Saturday, January 6, 2024 at St. Louis University Hospital. Craig was born on December 15, 1978 the son of Steve and Sherri (Wallace) Finney. He married Kristen Timm on October 1, 2005 at the Iuka Lutheran Church and she survives in Salem. In addition to his wife, Kristen Finney, he is survived by his father, Steve Finney and wife Donna Beckham Finney of Centralia; two daughters, Kennedy Finney and Alana Finney both of Salem; sisters, Michelle Nunn and husband Phillip, Maleah Sanders and husband Chad, and Miranda Campbell and husband Craig; brother-in-law, Jason Timm and wife Jennifer; mother-in-law, Patricia Timm; and several aunts, uncles, nieces, and nephews. He was preceded in death by his grandparents; and his mother, Sherri Finney. Craig was a member of the Salem Lutheran Church. He was employed by the Union Pacific Railroad as a manager. A Memorial Service for Craig Finney will be held at 6:00 pm on Friday, January 12, 2024 at the Salem Lutheran Church with Pastor Mike Feldmann officiating. There will be no visitation. Private interment will be in the Iuka Lutheran Cemetery. In lieu of flowers memorials can be made towards a college fund for his children, with checks made payable to Kristen Finney and can be received at Crouse Funeral Home.
