George F. Ruscher Jr., age 64 of Dix, passed away on January 10, 2020 at St. Louis University Hospital. George was born on May 13, 1955 in Salem, the son of George F. Ruscher Sr. and Marian Elizabeth (Williams) Ruscher. He is survived by, two children, Adam and Becky; two brothers, Mike Ruscher and wife Kathy of Kell and Steve Ruscher and wife June of Kell; two sisters, Anne Mayo and husband Kenny of Missouri and Kim Sprinkle and husband Willie; aunt, Joann Williams of Dix; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, nephew, Kevin Rusher; sister-in-law, Kathy Rusher; three aunts, Shirley Williams, Virginia Stith and Lois Williams and uncle, Chuck Ruscher. George worked at a machinist. Funeral Services will be held on Wednesday, January 15, 2020 at 2:00 pm at Crouse Funeral Home in Salem. Visitation will be from 1:00 pm until the time of the service. Interment will be in East Lawn Cemetery. Memorials can be made to the American Cancer Society and will be received at the funeral home.
