Adam Christopher Crain, age 40 of St. Louis formerly of Salem, passed away on Wednesday October 2, 2019 at Mercy Hospital in St. Louis. Adam was born on November 23, 1978 in Salem, Illinois to Richard Crain and Rebecca Stoffel. Survivors include, parents, Richard Crain and wife Terri of Paris, IL and Rebecca (Stoffel) Veal and husband Duane of St. Louis, MO; daughters, Desiree Crain and significant other Levi McHenry of Sandoval, Merissa Crain and significant other Justin Sligar of Central City; sister, Carrie Poore and husband Sherman of Paris, IL; grandchildren, Carter Whitaker, Raegan Sligar, and Colt McHenry. Adam was a welder. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday October 8, 2019 at 12:00 pm at Rogers- Atkins Funeral Home with Rev. Greg Townsley officiating. Burial will follow at the Evergreen Cemetery in Kinmundy, IL. There will be a visitation on Tuesday from 10:00 am until the time of the service. Memorial contribution can be made to the family and left at the funeral home.
