Obituary of MaryLaDean Mulvany

MaryLaDean Mulvany, age 92 of Salem, passed away on Saturday, May 16, 2020 at Salem Township Hospital. MaryLaDean was born on February 16, 1928, the daughter of Louis and Ethyl (Kassinger) Moses. She married Howard C. Mulvany in St. Louis on August 3, 1946 and he preceded her in death on February 12, 2002. She is survived by her three children, Cherryn Marvel and husband Jerry of Abbeville, Alabama, Vicki Donoho of Salem and Eddy Mulvany and wife Lisa of Salem; brother-in-law, Junior Butts of Kinmundy; sister-in-law, Pat Moses of Xenia; several grandchildren, great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; three sisters; one brother; two grandsons; and one son-in-law. MaryLaDean was a long time member of the Lovells Grove Christian Church. She worked for Brown Shoe Company, was a homemaker, past owner-operator of Omega Grocery and retired from World Color Press. Her passion for many years was Friday nights with “the girls” having supper and playing cards. Private graveside services will be held on Tuesday, May 19, 2020 at Phillips Cemetery in Omega, with Roy Koduvalil officiating. Memorials can be made to Lovells Grove Christian Church or Phillips Cemetery and can be received at the Crouse Funeral Home who is in charge of arrangements.
