Joshua Edward Metcalf age 67 of Kinmundy, passed away on Saturday, October 5, 2024 at Barnes Jewish Hospital in St. Louis. Joshua was born on June 2, 1957 in Fayette County, the son of Max and Kathryn (Sanders) Metcalf. He married Jackie Joshlin and she preceded him in death. Survivors include his sons, William Metcalf and wife Andrea of Herrin and Jason Schooley of Alma; granddaughter, Gracelyn Evans; step-granddaughter, Lorelei Hills; four siblings, Melba Johnston, Virginia Casner, Byron Metcalf, and Joyce Wilson; and friend, Kimmy Metcalf. He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Jackie Metcalf; and siblings, Frank Metcalf, Gary Metcalf, Nadra Metcalf, Aaron Metcalf, Kathy Wood, Tom Metcalf, and Janet Metcalf. Joshua was of the Christian Faith. He worked for World Color Press in Salem until their closing. He then went on to be an over the road truck driver until retirement. Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, October 19, 2024 at 11:00 am at Crouse Funeral Home in Salem. Burial will follow at Old Bethel Cemetery in Iuka.
