Obituary of Ida LaVonne Simmons
Ida LaVonne Simmons, age 52 of Sandoval, passed away on Saturday, January 27, 2024 at SSM Health St. Mary’s Hospital in Centralia.
Ida was born on June 22, 1971 in Lebanon, Missouri the daughter of Garland L. Simmons Sr. and Vonna Sue (Hamilton) Simmons.
She is survived by her mother, Vonna Sue Simmons of Sandoval; brother, Garland Simmons and wife Jennifer of Salem; sister, Carolyn Berry of Ballwin, MO; two nephews, Cameron Simmons and Matthew Simmons; and a niece, Jacqueline Simmons all of Salem.
She was preceded in death by her father.
Ida was a 1989 graduate of Centralia High School. She loved art, cooking, and animals of all kinds.
Private services will be held at a later date. Crouse Funeral Home in Salem is assisting the family with arrangements.
