Obituary of Brad W. Steevens

Brad W. Steevens, age 62 of Salem, passed away on Sunday, July 2, 2023 at Salem Township Hospital surrounded by his daughters. Bradley was born on February 21, 1961 in Woodriver, Illinois, the son of Gerald and Wilma Bernice (Fields) Steevens. Survivors include his daughters, Cari Beasley and husband Kelly of Salem, Kelly Rose and husband Kevin of Salem, Kelsi Steevens and fiancé Michael Whipple, and Megan Green and significant other Kyle Hoard of Arizona; brother, Greg Steevens and Cindy Ingram of Salem; grandchildren, Jackeline, Zachary, Brian, Micah, Laney, Kadyn, Kloey, Kohlt, Lileigh, Zayler, Taegan; and a great granddaughter, Arya. He was preceded in death by his father, Gerald Steevens; a sister, Laura Steevens Bowen, and a grandson, Kreed. Brad worked for several years as the manager of Mad Pricer in Salem. He was an avid St. Louis Cardinals fan, and he also had a love for NASCAR and football. He enjoyed collecting baseball cards and taking trips to see family. His grandchildren held a very special place in his heart and he enjoyed spending time with them. He could often be found traveling around to friends and family members houses drinking coffee. Private graveside services for Brad W. Steevens will be held at Paradise Cemetery in Salem. Memorial contributions can be made to Sleep In Heavenly Peace and will be received at Crouse Funeral Home who is assisting the family with arrangements.
