David Douglas Holsapple, age 59 of Salem, passed away at Deaconess Midtown Hospital in Evansville, on Friday, June 9, 2023. Doug was born on December 8, 1963 in Centralia, the son of John “David” and Shirley Lee (Parker) Holsapple. Survivors include his two children, Ryan Holsapple of Edwardsville and Ali Holsapple of Chicago; and one brother, Matthew Holsapple of Salem. He was preceded in death by his parents. Doug served for four years in the United States Air Force. He worked for many years at General Tire in the setup department. He enjoyed weight lifting, and comedy and action movies. There will be no public services. Crouse Funeral Home in Salem is assisting the family.
