Obituary of Mary Lou "Moo" Randall Baldwin

Mary Lou “Moo” Randall Baldwin, age 93 of Salem, passed away on Saturday, June 10, 2023 at The Cottages at Salem. Moo was born on March 4, 1930 in Terra Haute, Indiana, the daughter of John and Emma (Conklin) Goodwin. She married Clyde H. Randall and together they were blessed with three children. Clyde preceded her in death and she later married Harry Baldwin, and he also preceded her in death. Survivors include her three children John Harold Randall and wife Marsha Ann of Carlyle, Dennis Lee Randall of Florida, and Kathy Kretzer and husband Jerry of Salem; grandchildren, Rich Broom and wife Katrina of Rogersville, MO, Renee McClellan and husband Terrance of Minneapolis, Minnesota, Brandon Randall and wife Ruth of Republic, Missouri, Joseph Randall and wife Holly of Lenexa, Kansas, T.J. Randall and wife Giovanna of Wentzville, Missouri, Katie Rutledge and husband John of Raymore, Missouri, John Kaminski and wife Kimberleigh of Steger, Illinois, Alyssa Hall and Tyler Gillett of Sandoval, Illinois, Tammy Kluemke and husband Mike of Beckmeyer, Illinois, and Jeff Kretzer and wife Kim of Colorado Springs, Colorado; 24 great grandchildren, 11 great- great grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, both husbands, four brothers, and one sister. Moo was well known in the Branson area and was the retired Apple Butter Lady at Silver Dollar City, with the shop in the park, “Moo’s Fine Apple Butter” being named after her. She was a charter member of Open Arms Fellowship Church in Salem, where she taught Sunday School for many years until she was no longer able. Moo was an Elvis Presley fanatic. She also had a love for ballroom dancing and taught many people how to dance over the years. She taught all of her nieces and nephews how to swim, dance, and conquer their fears. Celebration of life services for Mary Lou “Moo” Baldwin will be held on Wednesday, June 14, 2023 at 11:00 a.m. at Crouse Funeral Home in Salem with Brother Ben Wyant officiating. There will be a visitation held on Tuesday at the funeral home from 5:00 – 7:00 p.m. Burial will be held in Pinecrest Cemetery in Lampe, Missouri at a later date.
