Dwaine Allen Brewer, age 66 of Sumner, passed away on May 10, 2023 at Deaconess Midtown Hospital in Evansville, Indiana surrounded by his family. Dwaine was born on November 9, 1956 in Salem the son of Frank and Agnes (Albert) Brewer. He married Peggy (Lewis) Brewer on June 6, 1999 in Salem and she survives in Sumner. Survivors include his wife, Peggy of Sumner; daughter, Tonya Medley and husband Zack; sons, Jesse Brewer and wife Toni and Travis Brewer and wife Leandrea; sisters, Doris Maurer of Salem and Teresa Ronat and husband Ed of Mt. Vernon; brother, Dale Brewer and wife Beth of Salem; several grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents. Dwaine worked for many years alongside his parents on the farm. He served in the United States Army. He enjoyed deer hunting and fishing.
