Donna I. Snodgrass, age 78 of Salem, passed away on Wednesday, April 26, 2023 at HSHS St. Elizabeth Hospital in O’Fallon. Donna was born on November 11, 1944 in St. Louis, the daughter of Robert Phillips and Fern Maxine (Shaw) Jausel. She married Wayne Snodgrass and they later divorced. She is survived by two daughters, Cyndee Katz and husband Jerry of Effingham and Christy Schuette of Collinsville; grandchildren, Andy Rose and wife Chanel, Jordan Noll and wife Amanda, Mitchell Noll and wife Baylee, Evan Schuette and wife Natalie, and Blake Noll; great-grandchildren, Karsyn and Kylie Noll, Briar and Baron Rose and Calvin Noll; and one sister, Sharen Kelling of Florida. She was preceded in death by her parents and twin grandsons, Brandon and Kyle Kretzer. Donna was a member of St. Theresa of Avila Catholic Church in Salem. She has worked for World Color Press and North American Lighting. She loved to craft and spend time with her grandkids. A Celebration of Life for Donna I. Snodgrass will be held at 7:00 pm on Monday, May 1, 2023 at Crouse Funeral Home in Salem with Father Jose Jacob officiating. A time of visitation will be held from 5:00 pm until the time of the service. Memorials can be made to Sleep in Heavenly Peace - Salem Chapter and can be received at Crouse Funeral Home in Salem.
