Leroy T. Kleiboeker, age 88 of Shattuc, passed away at his home on Tuesday, April 25, 2023. Leroy was born on November 12, 1934 in Clinton County, the son of George and Caroline “Lena” (Steinkamp) Kleiboeker. He married Dorothy (Jackson) Kleiboeker on April 26, 1959 in Salem, and she survives in Shattuc. In addition to his wife, he is survived by six children, Larry J. Kleiboeker of Patoka, Gary Kleiboeker and wife Tammy of Patoka, Duane Kleiboeker of Shattuc, Denis Kleiboeker of Odin, Karen Wuebbels and husband Jeff of Germantown, and Lisa Kleiboeker of Mt. Vernon; 12 grandchildren; and several great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents; and one brother, George Kleiboeker Jr. Leroy was of the Lutheran Faith. He had served in the National Guard, worked as a dairy and grain farmer, and was a member of Mid-America Dairy Farmers. He later worked part-time for the road commissioner of Meridian Township for several years. Funeral services for Leroy T. Kleiboeker will be held at 11:00 am on Saturday, April 29, 2023 at Crouse Funeral Home in Salem. Burial will follow at Paradise Cemetery in Salem. Visitation will be held on Friday, from 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm at the funeral home. Memorials can be made to the American Stroke Association or the Donors Choice and can be received at the funeral home.
