Jacqueline Sue Daniels, age 75 of Iuka, IL passed away on Sunday, March 19, 2023 at SSM Health Good Samaritan Hospital in Mt. Vernon. Sue was born on August 15, 1947 in St. Louis, MO the daughter of Jack and Neva (Branson) McYntire. She married John Stephen Daniels on June 27, 1965 at Union Church and he survives in Iuka. In addition to her husband, she is survived by two sons, Jonathan Daniels and wife Jennifer of Knoxville, TN and Jeremy Daniels and wife Emily of St. Louis; and grandchildren, Preston Johnson, Naseem Daniels and wife Halle, Sameera Hammad, Maysoon Hammad, and Logan Daniels. She was preceded in death by her parents. Sue worked for many years as a CNA. She was of the Pentecostal Faith. She loved to read, cook, and watch the Food Network, especially the Pioneer Woman. Funeral Services for Jacqueline “Sue” Daniels will be held at 10:30 am on Saturday, March 25, 2023 at Crouse Funeral Home in Salem, IL with Pastor Jeff Hough officiating. Burial will be in Bell Cemetery in Iuka. Visitation will be held on Friday, from 5:00 pm until 7:00 pm at the funeral home.
