Jeffrey John Johnson, age 59 of Odin, passed away on Sunday, March 19, 2023 at his home with his family by his side. Jeff was born on April 9, 1963 in St. Paul, Minnesota, the son of Richard Johnson and Joyce Marie (Weatherford) Reynolds. He married Peggy (Holman) Johnson on May 29, 1993 in Fairman, Illinois and she survives in Odin. Survivors include his wife Peggy; his father, Rich Johnson and wife Barb of Highland; children, Jessie Johnson, Jenna Johnson and significant other Levi Cavins of Salem, Jocelyn Johnson and significant other Dylan Calahan of Odin, Jaeda Johnson of Odin, Jerzie- Sue Johnson of Odin, and Joel Johnson of Odin; grandchildren, Giana Grace Joyce Johnson, Graycen Lee Calahan, and Atticus Lee Cavins; siblings, Rick Johnson and wife Sherry, Jody Johnson and wife Lisa, Jamie Johnson and wife Nicole, Brenda Johnson, and Lisa Discoll and husband Tim; a sister in- law, Carla Johnson; several nieces and nephews; and a dear family friend, Brennen J. Hernandez. He was preceded in death by his mother, Joyce Marie Reynolds; a son, Gabrielle John Johnson; and a brother, Tony Johnson. Jeff worked as a machine operator for American Form Liners in Centralia. He loved NASCAR and riding 4-wheelers with his son, Joel, his best friend Marty Sussen, and his brother in-law, Shane Holman. He loved spending time with his children and grandchildren. He was a simple man, and was well known for always having a 2 liter of Mt. Dew in his hand. Celebration of Life services for Jeffrey John Johnson will be held on Monday, March, 27, 2023 at 6:00 p.m. at Crouse Funeral Home in Salem with Claude Howell officiating. There will be a vistitation from 4:00 p.m. until the time of the service. Memorial contributions can be made to the family and will be received at the funeral home.
