Frances Mulvaney, age 103 of Salem, passed away on Tuesday, February 21, 2023 at Odin Health Care Center. Frances was born on August 31, 1919 in Omega, Illinois the daughter of Bert and Minnie (Wantland) Prather. She married Archie Mulvaney and he preceded her in death. Survivors include her children, Mona Barbee of Salem and Tom Mulvaney and wife Gale of Engelwood, Florida; grandchildren, Cindy Keele, Jon Sanders and wife Dena, Hope Finley and fiancé Charles Pfifer, Woody Glosser and wife Patricia, Tony Mulvaney, and Sheena Turner and husband Tyler, Kelly Jo Burgess and husband Rick, Troy Williams and wife Amiee; 15 great grandchildren, and 17 great-great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Archie, her daughter Mitzi, 1 great grandchildren, and two great- great grandchildren. Frances was a homemaker and of the Baptist Faith. She loved to read, but most of all she absolutely adored her grandchildren, great grandchildren, and great- great grandchildren. Graveside services for Frances Mulvaney will be held on April 22, 2023 at 11:00 a.m. at Paradise Cemetery with Sam Foutch officiating.
