Obituary of Doris E. Morris
Doris Elaine “Dee” Morris, age 79 of Salem, passed away on Thursday, February 16, 2023 at Salem Township Hospital.
Dee was born on August 24, 1943 in Bogota, Texas the daughter of Clifford and Velma (Rector) Watson. She married Nolan Morris on August 4, 1966 in Rockton, Illinois and he survives in Salem.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by two daughters, Marcy Mikalik and husband Jim of Pana and Elva Lynn Shioli and husband Rob of Bartlett; brother, Leon Watson; and two sisters, Norma Jean Wooten and Mary Kelly.
She was preceded in death by her son, Kevin “Kat” Wayne Morris.
Dee was a charter member of Calvary Free Will Baptist Church in Salem. She was employed with Goff Plumbing for 10 years.
Graveside services for Doris Elaine “Dee” Morris will be held at 11:00 am on Tuesday, February 21, 2023 at Paradise Cemetery in Salem with Loyd Slater officiating. Visitation will be held on Monday, from 4:30 until 6:30 at Crouse Funeral Home in Salem.
