Obituary of Robert Eugene Mansker

Robert “Robbie” Eugene Mansker Jr., age 58 of Overland, MO formerly of Salem passed away on November 10, 2019 at his home. Rob was born on November 2, 1961 in Salem, IL to Robert E. and Barbara (Dukes) Mansker who survive. He married Deborah A. Vansyoc on July 20, 2016 in Clayton , MO and she survives in Overland, MO. Survivors include his parents, his wife, a sister, Deborah Robbins and husband Alan; brothers, Greg Mansker, Christopher Mansker, and Chad Mansker and wife Madeline; step daughters, Casey Beard and Jennifer McLom and husband Art; nine grandchildren and great grandchildren; many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins; a very special friend Vickie Joyce; and his loving dog Summer. Rob was preceded in death by a brother, Tony Mansker; nephews, Vincent, Devin, and Michael Mansker; grandparents, Gordon and Ann Mansker and Charles and Nora Miller; special aunt, Bonnie Powless; and a special uncle, Steve Miller. Rob graduated from Sandoval High School and maintained a relationship with many of his friends. He worked for 35 years as a machine analyst at Fiserv in Hazelwood, MO, never missing a day of work. Everyone that knew Rob said that he was a very special person. He helped many friends throughout the years, visiting sick friends, taking elderly neighbors to get their groceries, giving single moms money to help with bills. He always put others before himself. As a child he attended the Grace Nazarene Church in Salem, IL. He was currently a member at the Faith Church in St. Louis, MO. Rob’s passions were attending rock concerts and listening to KSHE-95. Funeral services for Robert Mansker will be held on Friday November 15, 2019 at 11:00a.m. at Rogers- Atkins Funeral Home with Larry Miller officiating the services. Burial will follow at the Martin Cemetery. There will be a visitation on Thursday at Rogers- Atkins Funeral Home from 6:00p.m. to 8:00p.m. Memorial contributions can be made to the Donor’s Choice and can be left at the funeral home.
