Obituary of Wilbur Lee Hiltibidal
Wilbur Lee Hiltibidal, age 79 of Centralia, passed away on Wednesday, January 4, 2023 at Fireside House in Centralia.
Wilbur was born on January 20, 1943 in Centralia, the son of William and Wilmintie Opal “Minnie” (Ord) Hiltibidal. He married Lillian Frances Nix and she preceded him in death, and later in life he married Susan Whalen and she preceded him in death.
He is survived by three children, David Hiltibidal and wife Dana of Sandoval, Cherri Hiltibidal of Salem, and Linda Berning and husband Joe of Centralia; grandchildren, Chastity Pittman and husband Brandon, Brittany Ahlf and husband Chris, Shawn Rowcliff, Matthew Hodge, Ashley Hodge, Cory Hodge, Amber Ashlock, Ethan Berning, and Bryson Berning; great-grandchildren, Kaleb Calhoun, Lexi Calhoun, Kolten Calhoun, Carter Ahlf, Canaan Hodge, Navy Hodge, Brooklyn Hodge, Hunter Hodge, Harper Thorson, Madyson Ashlock, Kinsley Ashlock, and Brynley Ashlock.
He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Lillian Frances; wife, Susan; son, Randy Hiltibidal; brother, William; and sisters, Margaret and Lavada.
Wilbur worked as a machinist. He and his wife Lillian Frances enjoyed being CB radio operators for many years. He enjoyed racing and riding motorcycles, working on cars, fishing and hunting squirrel and rabbit.
Graveside services will be held at 2:00 pm on Sunday, January 8, 2023 at East Lawn Cemetery in Salem with Claude Howell officiating. Memorials can be made to the family and can be accepted at Crouse Funeral Home in Salem.
