Kevin Wayne “Kat” Morris, age 54 of Salem, passed away on Monday, December 19, 2022 at Deaconess Hospital in Evansville, Indiana. Kat was born on June 26, 1968, the son of Nolan and Dorris E. (Watson) Morris. He is survived by his parents, Nolan and Doris Morris of Salem, and two half-sisters, Marcy Mikalik and husband Jim of Pana, and Elva Lynn Shilo and husband Rob of Bartlett, Illinois. Kat was the owner and operator of Kats Drywall in Salem for many years. He loved to hunt, fish and explore. Funeral services for Kevin Wayne “Kat” Morris will be held on Friday December 23, 2022 at 11:00 a.m. at Crouse Funeral Home in Salem with Lloyd Slater officiating. Interment will be in Paradise Cemetery. There will be a visitation on Thursday evening at Crouse Funeral Home in Salem from 4:30 – 6:30 p.m. Memorial contributions can be made to the donor’s choice and will be received at the funeral home.
