Gwen, Jack and the kids were our next door neighbors for many years in Rockaway, NJ. The kids grew up there and I was their babysitter as a teen. Jack was my confirmation sponsor and Gwen was one of my mother 's closest friends. They were super parents and friends. We shared holidays, summer picnics and lots of year round fun. I think Gwen's friendship helped my older mother to stay young! I can still picture Gwen sitting at our kitchen table laughing, talking to my mom and me. We loved her like a family member which her whole family practically was! My Dad, a quite reserved man, once ordered a neighbor out of our house because she spoke disrespectfuly to Gwen. I could go on, but suffice to say, Gwen and her family were our closest friends. My family will never forget her, or the love she gave, and we will continue to miss her, as we have since she left Rockaway.
