Sandra Kay Boughers, age 72 of Salem, passed away at Salem Township Hospital on Saturday, July 30, 2022. Kay was born on May 30, 1950 in Centralia, the daughter of Donald L. and Beulah M. (Patton) Fyke. She is survived by her husband, Michael Boughers-Martinez of Salem; three children, Larry Boughers of Opdyke, Kelly Boughers and wife Jessica of Centralia, and Kevin Boughers and wife Diane of Dix; eight grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; son, Troy Eugene Boughers in 1969; daughter, Anna Marie Boughers in 2021; and two siblings, Donald Fyke and Donna Heustis. Kay was of the Baptist Faith. She dedicated her life to the care of her daughter, Anna. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, August 4, 2022 at 11:00 am at Crouse Funeral Home in Salem with Larry Woodward officiating. Burial will be in Elmwood Cemetery in Centralia. Visitation will be held from 4 pm until 6 pm on Wednesday at the funeral home. Memorials can be made to Shriners Hospitals for Children and can be received at Crouse Funeral Home in Salem who is assisting the family with arrangements.
