Monte W. Osterholtz, age 71 of Kinmundy, passed away at his home on Sunday, May 15, 2022. Monte was born on September 24, 1950, the son of Robert and Ena (Parish) Osterholtz. He married Delores Kay Owens on July 4, 1975 at their home in Kinmundy, and she survives in Kinmundy. In addition to his wife, Delores Osterholtz, he is survived by three children, Kay Goff of Kinmundy, June Carver and husband Brian of Ohio, and Charles Osterholtz and wife Lori of St. Elmo; 11 grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; and two sisters-in-law, Charlene Osterholtz and Wanda Osterholtz. He was preceded in death by his parents; one daughter, Anna Caudle; and three brothers, Charles Osterholtz, Bob Osterholtz, and Lee Osterholtz. Monte worked for World Color Press and later for Gilster-Mary Lee as a forklift driver. He enjoyed fishing and spending time with his family. Private family services will be held. Crouse Funeral Home in Salem is assisting the family with arrangements.
