Obituary of Nancy Morton
Nancy Morton, age 68 of Kell, passed away on Wednesday, March 30, 2022 at Salem Township Hospital.
Nancy was born on December 27, 1953 in Centralia, the daughter of William Monroe and Murnel Mae (Snow) Hill. She married Bobby Joe “Bob” Morton on November 15, 1971 in Salem and he survives in Kell.
In addition to her husband Bob, she is survived by four children, Bobby Joe “Jr.” Morton and wife Rebecca of Salem, Misty Morton of Sandoval, Kevin Morton of Kell, and Sam Morton and wife Ashely of Kell; eight grandchildren, Tiffany Morton, Shawn Morton, Khristy Epperson, Corall Morton, Cheyenne Morton, Piper Morton, Landon Morton, and Emmit Morton; three great-grandchildren, Bella Kingston, Seanna Morton, and Noah Powe; two brothers-in-law, Lee Hays and John Hays; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; and three sisters, Betty Williamson and husband Carthel, Alice Hays, and Hazel Hays.
Nancy was a member of Elmgrove Church of Christ in Iuka. She worked as a CNA at Twin Willows Nursing Center for over 25 years. She enjoyed spending time with her family.
Funeral Services for Nancy Morton will be held at 10:30 am on Tuesday, April 5, 2022 at Crouse Funeral Home in Salem with David Snow officiating. Burial will be in Snow Hill Cemetery in Iuka. Visitation will be held on Monday, from 5:00 pm until 7:00 pm at the funeral home. Memorials can be made to Shriners Hospitals for Children- St. Louis and can be received at Crouse Funeral Home.
