Nancy Elaine Weeks Lafenhagen, age 67 of Salem, passed away on Monday, September 13, 2021 at Odin Health and Rehab Center in Odin. Nancy was born on November 9, 1953 in Salem, IL the daughter of Byron and Dorothy (Brimberry) Sill. Survivors include her children, Missy Hogan and husband Todd of Iuka, Ryan Weeks and wife Jonna of Mt. Vernon, and Lyndsy Smith and husband Chris of Salem; sister, Pauline Burgess and husband Otis of Alma; grandchildren, Taylor McKinzie, Brittany McKinzie, Teagan Hogan, Ryder Weeks, Mabry Smith, McCoy Smith, Hagen Simmons, and Henley Smith; great granddaughter, Reese Morris; special cousin, Brenda Altadonna of Waterloo; special niece, Tracy Mulvaney of Kinmundy; and caregiver, Daniela Simmons. She was also survived by several nieces, nephews, cousins and close friends. She was preceded in death by her parents; two sisters, Phyllis Schoreck and Carolyn Rose; and a brother, Larry Sill. Nancy worked as a Legal Secretary for Taylor Law Firm. She was a member of the Grace Nazarene Church in Salem. She loved spending time with her family and her friends. Celebration of Life services for Nancy Lafenhagen will be held on Friday, September 17, 2021 at 7:00 pm at Crouse Funeral Home in Salem with Mark Copley officiating. There will be a visitation from 4:00 pm until the time of the service. Memorial contributions can be made to A.L.S.
