Richard Eugene Lawrence, age 71 of Iuka, passed away on Monday, August 9, 2021 at his home. Richard was born on February 11, 1950 in Salem, IL the son of Arthur and Joann (Jones) Lawrence. Survivors include his son, Jeremiah Lawrence and fiancé Jacqueline Marquez of Kell; 3 daughters, Tracy Keenum and husband Elijah of Mississippi, Renae Henson of Fairfield, and Kayla Lawrence of Fairfield; brothers, James Lawrence and Ronald Lawrence both of Iuka; a sister, Barb Schierbaum and husband Ron of Bluford. He was preceded in death by his parents. Richard was a handyman. He served his country in the United States Army Funeral services for Richard Eugene Lawrence will be held on Saturday, August 14, 2021 at 11:00 a.m. at Crouse Funeral Home in Salem. Burial will follow at the Christian Home Cemetery in Iuka. There will be military rites by the Salem American Legion. There will be a visitation on Saturday morning at the funeral home from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the service.
