Obituary of Vera D. Carlson
Vera Carlson, age 92, of Kinmundy, died Wednesday at Doctor’s Nursing and Rehabilitation. She was a housewife.
Funeral services for Vera D. Carlson will be held at 6:00pm Saturday night at the Rogers-Atkins Funeral Home in Salem, with Jeff Bent officiating. Visitation will be from 4:00- 6:00pm on Saturday at the funeral home. Online obituary information may be found at RogersAtkinsFuneralHome.com.
Vera Carlson was born on August 28th, 1926 at a farmhouse east of Kinmundy to Guy and Leona Hanks. She married Norman Carlson on July 30th, 1948 at Geneva Lutheran Church.
Vera Carlson was survived by a son: Richard Lee Carlson of Kinmundy and daughter Janis Diseron of Roselle along with two grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband and several brothers and sisters.
