Obituary of Virginia Murphy
Virginia Murphy, age 67 of Salem, formerly of Port Monmouth, New Jersey, passed away on November 20, 2019 at St. Louis University Hospital in St. Louis.
Virginia was born on June 16, 1952 in Hoboken, New Jersey the daughter of Robert Edward and Shirley M. (Kaiser) Lown. She married Leo John Murphy in June of 1982 and he preceded her in death on November 6, 2019.
Virginia is survived by her daughter, Nicole Conti of Salem; four grandchildren, Emily, Cody, Johnathan and Bella; and two sisters, Patricia Michael and husband Todd of New Jersey and Robin Lozano of Virginia.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Leo, and one son, Christopher Murphy.
Virginia was a homemaker.
No public services will be held. Rogers-Atkins Funeral Home in Salem is assisting the family.
