Larry Leroy Bratton, age 81, of Danville, Illinois, formerly of Salem, passed away on June 20, 2019 at OSF Sacred Heart Medical Center in Danville. Larry was born on August 3, 1937 in Kansas, the son of Dwight and Ilda (Browning) Bratton. Larry married Joan Francis Miller on August 31, 1957 and she preceded him in death. He remarried but was divorced at the time of his death. Larry served in the United States Navy, was Preacher and a diesel mechanic. He was a member of the Morey Chapel Church of Christ in Westville, Illinois. Survivors include, four sons, Mike Bratton of Colorado Springs, CO, Steve Bratton and wife Nancy of Woodlawn, David Bratton and wife Suzi of Cheyenne Wyoming and Mark Bratton of Wilmington, NC. A Family Memorial Service is being planned for a later date. Rogers-Atkins Funeral Home is assisting the family.
