Ronald L. Davis, age 71 of Odin, passed away on Monday July 1, 2019 at Nature Trail Healthcare Center in Mt. Vernon. Ron was born on March 25, 1948 in Centralia , Illinois to Leroy "Curly" and Alberta Nettie Margaret (Bonner) Davis. Survivors include, a step son, Chris Koeling and wife wife Jill of Opdyke; brother, Dale Davis of Odin; sister, Sandra Allen and husband Jerry of Effingham; step granddaughter, Bailey; niece, Lisa Allen; nephew, Jeff Allen and wife Michelle; great-niece, Kierstyn; and great- nephew, Justin. Ron was preceded in death by his mother, father, and step mother, Helen L. (Bullard) Davis. He worked for Meredian and Rockwell for over 20 years, Dream Homes, and Casey's in Odin. He served in the United States Marine Corp. Services for Ronald Davis will be held on Saturday July 6, 2019 at 11:00 am at Rogers- Atkins Funeral Home with Doug Romine officiating. There will be a visitation from 10:00 am until the time of the service. Burial will be private. Memorial donations can be made to the Salem American Legion and can be left at the funeral home.
