Barbara Haag, age 88 of Odin formerly of Salem, passed away on Saturday October 24, 2020 at Odin Care Center in Odin. Barbara was born on August 11, 1932 in Salem, Illinois, the daughter of Dwight Floyd Swaim and Leona Bessie (Garner) Brumfield. She married Oliver Charles Haag and he preceded her in death. Survivors include a son, John Haag and wife Laura of Salem; daughters, Mary Belle Wood and husband Earl of Odin and Janet Marie Haag of Fairfield; grandchildren, John Jr., Jeanna, Jesse, Joshua, Anthony, Sarah, Samantha, Michelle, Amber, Steven, Randy, and Lee David. She was also survived by 11 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, and four brothers, Clarence Eugene Swain, Harold Swain, Rody Swain and David Swain Barbara worked as a waitress and a factory worker. She was of the Christian faith. Graveside services for Barbara Haag will be held on Wednesday October 28, 2020 at 1:00 p.m. at the Goodfarm Cemetery in Dwight, IL.
