Tracy Mahurin, age 56 of Salem, passed away on Saturday, June 12, 2021 at her home. Tracy was born on February 8, 1965 in Hayti, MO, the daughter of Bob Howard and Dixie (Dyer) Howard Murray. Survivors include her mother, Dixie Murray and husband Jerry of Cartter; daughter, Christian Lingle of Nashville, TN; brother, Mark Howard and wife Gayla of Salem; sister, Christie Rhodes of Salem; step brother, Tracy Murray and wife Jennifer of Patoka; step sister, Teresa Murray of Herrin; half-brother, Jeff Howard; half-sister, Jodee Johnson; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her father, Bob Howard and a nephew, Adam Jacob Rhodes. Tracy worked as a manager at Hucks. She previously owned a hair salon and fitness center in Union, MO. She was of the Christian Faith. She loved spending time with her kids and family. She also enjoyed writing and decorating. Celebration of life services will be held on Thursday, June 17, 2021 at 1:00 p.m. at Crouse Funeral Home in Salem with Jim McGrew and Shannon Bopp officiating. Burial will follow at Paradise Cemetery in Salem. There will be a visitation on Thursday from 11:00 a.m. until the time of the service. Memorial contributions can be made to the St. Jude Children’s Hospital and can be left at the Crouse Funeral Home who is assisting the family with arrangements.
