Judy Carter, age 72 of Lehigh Acres, Florida, formerly of Salem passed away on Monday, September 21, 2020 at Lehigh Medical Center. Judy was born on June 26, 1948 in Centralia the daughter of Clyde and Erma (Alderson) Clark. She married Jim Carter on December 1, 1967 in Salem and he preceded her in death on December 27, 1993. She is survived by five sons, Troy Carter and Christie of Centralia, Todd Carter and wife Anna of Lehigh, FL, Trent Carter and wife Delinda of Central City, Tad Carter and wife T.J. of Alabama, and Jimmy Carter of Centralia; grandchildren, Trinity, Briley, A.J., Tyler, Brooke, Cody, Alyssa, Amanda, Brittany, Cory, Jacob, Jared and Kami; 9 great-grandchildren; one sister Kathy Birdsong of Mt. Vernon; one brother Jerry Gaston and wife Pam of Centralia; step-mother, Grace Clark of Arizona; and special friends, Cinda and family. She was preceded in death by her husband Jim, her father Clyde Clark; mother Erma Gaston, step-father Bernard Gaston and brother Dale Alderson. Judy was of the Christian faith. She worked for many years at Twin Willows Nursing Home in Salem. She loved spending time with her family and her friends. A Celebration of Life visitation will be held on Sunday, September 27, 2020 from 11:00 am until 1:00 pm at Crouse Funeral Home in Salem. Interment will be at a later date in Harvey’s Point Cemetery in Kell. Crouse Funeral Home in Salem is assisting the family with arrangements.
