Sherry Talbert, age 58 of Odin, passed away on Thursday, June 3, 2021 at Salem Township Hospital. Sherry was born on August 7, 1962 in Salem, the daughter of William and Nancy Jane (Sanders) Groff. She married Lyle Talbert on February 21, 1986 at Marshall Creek Baptist Church and he survives in Odin. In addition to her husband, she is survived by one son, Garret Talbert of Odin; one granddaughter, Izabella; siblings, Wilma Johnson, Gayla Duncan, Bill Groff, Jim Groff, Larry Groff and wife Nancy, Cindy Shopinski, Jimmy Groff, and Bobby Groff; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; and siblings, Betty Morgan and Raymond Groff. Sherry was a member of Marshall Creek Baptist Church in Odin. She enjoyed reading, flowers and gardening. Most of all she loved being with her family, friends and caring for many children. Celebration of Life services will be held at a later date.
