Obituary of Mona June Sager
Mona June Sager, age 75 of Texico, passed away on Wednesday, February 10, 2021 at Christian Hospital Northeast in St. Louis.
Mona was born on June 21, 1945 in Rinard, the daughter of Henry and Ola (Hayes) Baker. She married Dennis Sager on January 20, 1983 in Kell and he survives in Texico.
In addition to her husband Dennis of 37 years, she is survived by three daughters, Cindy Sloat and significant other Tim Tucker of Salem, Lisa Jett and husband David of Salem, and Christina Daniels and husband Mike of Lynwood, WA; five grandchildren, Jessica Sloat, Elizabeth, Martin, Sammy and Abrahm Jett; and two sisters, Mary Miner of Pontiac and Mildred Sutton of Flora.
She was preceded in death by her parents; one son, Kevin Ray Fisher; and two brothers, James and Elmer Baker.
Mona has been employed by Woolford-Marsh, Farm Fresh, Xenia Manufacturing, and retired from Wal-Mart after working there from 1979-1993. She enjoyed shopping trips and mother daughter days with her daughter Cindy.
Funeral services will be held at 1:00 pm on Friday, February 12, 2021 at Crouse Funeral Home in Salem with Tim Olsen officiating. Burial will be in Donoho Prairie Cemetery in Texico. Visitation will be at the funeral home from 11:00 am until 1:00 pm on Friday. Memorials can be made to the Family or Shriners Hospitals for Children and can be received at Crouse Funeral Home in Salem who is assisting the family with arrangements.
