Kenneth "Kenny" R. Hogan Obituary (1951

Kenneth "Kenny" R. Hogan, age 71 of Salem passed away at his home on Saturday, December 3, 2022. Kenny was born on January 25, 1951 in Olney, the son of Ernest and Edna (Loye) Hogan. He married Deborah Hogan and they later divorced. For the last 16 years, he has enjoyed the friendship of his longtime partner Carolyn Hammons who survives in Salem. In addition to Carolyn, he is survived by his son, Cody Hogan and wife Heather of Milwaukee, WI; two step-children, Christopher Phillips and Shawn Palm; grandchildren, Mariah Hogan, Farrah Hogan, Chase Phillips, Nikki Phillips, Max Phillips, and Cole Phillips; great-grandchildren, Finely, Skylynn, Serenity, and Melody; sisters, Anna K. Thompson and Pearl Yvonne Wilkin; and a close friend who is like a brother, Dave Thompson and family. He was preceded in death by his parents; a son, Dustin Hogan; and a step-son, Martin "Marty" Phillips. Kenny was a member of Grace Nazarene Church in Salem. He had worked for the Ames Company and later Egyptian Concrete, where he retired after 27 years of work. He enjoyed hunting and fishing. A Memorial Service will be held at a later date. Memorials can be made to the family and can be received at Crouse Funeral Home in Salem who is assisting the family with arrangements.
