Charmaine Clark

Charmaine Clark, age 89, of Centralia, Illinois, passed away peacefully at her home on Sunday, October 4, 2026.

Charmaine was born on September 8, 1937.

Those who knew Charmaine will remember her as a sweet, outgoing person who truly enjoyed being around others. She loved socializing with her friends and peers and was often happiest when she was the center of attention. One of her favorite subjects was her birthday, and she always enjoyed talking about it and celebrating the special occasion.

Charmaine took great pride in looking her best. She enjoyed wearing jewelry, having her nails painted, and getting her hair done. She also had a special fondness for dolls and stuffed animals and could often be seen carrying one—or sometimes several—with her.

She enjoyed watching cartoons, listening to music, and singing. Charmaine also loved spending time outdoors, especially taking trips to the park and enjoying pleasant weather. Her outgoing personality and the joy she found in the simple things of life will be remembered fondly by those who knew and cared for her. She will be greatly missed by her friends and peers at Bryan Manor.

A Graveside Service for Charmaine Clark will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, October 9, 2026, at East Lawn Cemetery in Salem, with Denise Burke officiating. Crouse Funeral Home in Salem is assisting with arrangements.
