Alisha Hess

Alisha Joy Hess, age 46 of Iuka, passed away on Friday, December 27, 2024 at SSM Health St. Louis University Hospital surrounded by her family.

Alisha was born on March 10, 1978 in Vandalia, the daughter of Dale and Deborah (McMillan) Boatman. She married Kasey Hess on June 15, 1996 at the Salem First Baptist Church and he survives in Iuka.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by her parents, Dale and Deborah Boatman; two children, Rebecca Shelby Hess of Iuka, and Nicholas Brandon Hess of Cape Girardeau, MO; sister, Michelle Morgan and husband Ben of Iuka; and a nephew, Logan Morgan.

She was preceded in death by her grandfather, Donald McMillan; and her mother-in-law, Ruth Ann Hess.

Alisha dedicated her life to being a mother. She was of the Christian Faith. Her hobbies included homesteading, raising chickens, gardening, and canning.

A Memorial Service will be held at 3:00 pm on Sunday, January 12, 2025 at Crouse Funeral Home in Salem. A time to visit with family will be held from 1:00 pm until the time of the service.
